Friday night I am singing the Star Spangled Banner at the football game against St V. It's a home game, come if you wish. On a related note, Mr. Gorbach asked me after band the other day if I would be interested in singing the vocal selection with the band this year. I am very excited. The song is Over the Rainbow and it's almost a jazz arrangement of it, so i cannot wait to sing it. And yes I am going to go practice it now at my voice lesson, so until next time...

do you have any recordings of yourself? tell someone to record "Over the Rainbow" so i can hear it. i've never heard you sing. maybe that's because i exist only on the internet.

currently i do not have recordings of myself, but i should.. colleges want them before they let you audition. BUT of course they want tragic italian arias and german lieder.. Yea, i will tell someone to record "over the rainbow." Heh i practiced it with the band yesterday and some girl told me i sounded like Enya... i laughed at her (my 6th grade teacher played Enya during class every day "sail away" was her favorite song, ever since then i've had a special place in my heart for Enya).
